10h00: Departure in Ettelbruck

Your tour starts at the parking Deich in Ettelbruck, where our experienced guide will join you on the bus. Sit back and enjoy the journey while the guide tells you exciting stories and background information about the upcoming highlights.

Diekirch and Vianden – picturesque villages and the famous Vianden Castle

Our first stop takes us to Diekirch, a charming town on the River Sûre. We continue to Vianden, where the imposing castle towers over the town. During an individual visit to the castle, your customers can immerse themselves in history (please note: Admission tickets must be purchased on site and the guide does not conduct a tour here).
Admission to Vianden Castle can be purchased online in advance or on site.

Echternach – the oldest town in Luxembourg

During the onward journey to Echternach, participants enjoy marvellous views of the tranquil river landscape that meanders through the picturesque surroundings. Echternach, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with its famous jumping procession, enchants visitors with its historic charm. Highlights include Echternach Abbey, founded in the 7th century, which is steeped in cultural and religious history, and the impressive basilica, a masterpiece of Romanesque and Gothic architecture.

Schiessentümpel – waterfall and rock formations

From Echternach, the route leads through the fascinating landscape of Luxembourg's Little Switzerland. This region inspires with its enormous sandstone cliffs, deep valleys and mystical rock labyrinths. A particular highlight is the Schiessentümpel, probably the most famous waterfall in Luxembourg. Here, the water cascades gently flows over rocks in a picturesque setting into a small river, framed by a romantic stone bridge. The Schiessentümpel is a popular photo motif and a symbol of the region's beauty.

Onward journey to Beaufort

The journey continues to Beaufort, where participants can enjoy a picturesque view of the imposing medieval castle of Beaufort. This well-preserved fortress from the 11th century tells stories of long-gone times.

17h00: Return to Ettelbruck

After an eventful day, we arrive back at the starting point in Ettelbruck at 5.00 pm, where our guide leaves the tour group.
